Use the yellow cards in the pew racks (by the hymnals) to share your prayer concerns each week. Place your requests in the offering plate. The Hilmar Covenant prayer teams are committed to pray for your concerns all month after you submit them.

Pray for the Community Yard Sale
This event is happening on Saturday, August 7th, from 8:00 a.m. to
1:00 p.m. All profits will go to the Merced County Rescue Mission.
Reserve a space with Josh and Kari, or donate items that can be sold
at the general yard sale. Pray that much income will be received to
help the Mission
Praise/Prayer for the Brian Seay Fundraiser
Praise God that together with the California Dept. of Fish and Game,
we raised $21,499 for Brian's medical expenses for the bond marrow
transplant! That transplant happened on Thursday, July 29. Pray for
Brian's recovery, and that all will go well from this procedure. Pray
too for Crystal and Aidan during these days of waiting.
Praise for Our Transition Pastor!
David Wesley has accepted our call to fill the position of transition
pastor. He begins his ministry with us on August 2nd. Welcome, Dave
and Kathy!
Pray for the Family of Rick Nordeen
Rick is a nephew of the Stroms and Mords, and he died on Thursday,
July 15, in Seattle. Pray for comfort and strength for the family,
especially his mother, Vivian (PeeDee) Nordeen. A graveside service
will be held on July 31 at 9:30 a.m. at the Hilmar North Cemetery.

We have a number of prayer teams that faithfully pray for everything from local issues to global concerns. All you need to do is find a prayer partner or two and commit to this ministry for one year. It's powerful! And a blessing for those who pray as well as for our world. See Pastor Dan to sign up. New teams are always welcome!

A team of trained people are available to pray with you at any time, at home or work, in the hospital or at church--wherever you would like to meet with them to receive prayer. Anointing with oil is also a helpful way to receive spiritual care. The need can be great or small, and everything that is shared will be held in strictest confidence. Call the church office to request someone to pray with you: 668-0400.
