hilmar covenant missions

Here at Hilmar Covenant we believe in making missions a priority. This sees us moving out of the doors of our church and into the community in which we live, and into the world beyond, for the purpose of ministering the love of Jesus and becoming a blessing to those around us.

We invite you to join us in that mission, stepping outside yourself to serve. Get involved today!

  • Serving the local church is a great way to grow spiritually, get connected to the heart of the church, and meet new people while meeting the needs of others. God calls us to use the gifts He has given us to serve as faithful stewards. How would you like to serve at HCC?

  • Hilmar Covenant has always invested much of its time and resources in this community. Hilmar Christian Children's Center, Hilmar Helping Hands, Senior Brown Bags, adopt-a-highway on Lander Avenue, "Fit ' Free" aerobics, English classes for Spanish speakers, summer Vacation Bible School for children, and Character Coaching at Hilmar schools are just some of the ways our congregation seeks to be a blessing to our community. Join us as we reach out to share the love and compassion of Jesus in tangible ways to Hilmar! What is your passion?

  • Since the very beginning of our existence, our congregation has sent both full-time and short-term missionaries to countries all around the world.

We also serve globally at times while staying closer to home. In 2018 we began partnering with World Vision, to host an annual 6k which provides clean water access to those around the world. During the summer of 2020 a group of students will be going to a Native American Reservation in Washington for a week of learning and ministering.

  • There are many full-time missionaries with whom Hilmar Covenant is privileged to partner. The missionaries we currently support as they serve in various part of the world are:

    • Roy & Aleta Danforth (Central African Republic)
    • Paul & Sheryl Noren (Africa)
    • Don & Lillian Dwight (Taiwan)
    • Harvey Lundquist (Alaska)
    • Ken & Adrienne Satterberg (France)
