Here at Hilmar Covenant Church we believe that:

LOVED PEOPLE LOVE PEOPLE

We believe in the priority of connection and relationship. We are called to love God, love one another, love our neighbor. We seek to create a welcoming church active in, and ready to care for one another in the family of God's people, and welcome and integrate guests into the life of the church.

 

GOD'S WORD SHAPES OUR STORY

We believe in the priority of growing together in God's Word, in our faith, and in our life as disciples of Jesus. We seek to provide opportunities for people to grow in their knowledge of Scripture and in their life as reflections of Christ.

 

FOUND PEOPLE FIND PEOPLE

We believe in the priority that sees us moving out of the doors of our church and into the community in which we live, and into the world beyond, for the purpose of ministering the love of Jesus and becoming a blessing to those around us.

 

GOD'S PEOPLE PASS ON FAITH

We believe in the priority that pushes us to pass on faith from generation to generation in the family of God's people. This consists of the older generation of our church passing on faith, leadership, and ownership, to younger generations of believers as they mature in their own faith.

 

YOU CAN'T OUTGIVE GOD

We believe in the priority that helps us be good stewards of the things that God has given us, that all we have is a gift from God and is given to be used for the building of God's Kingdom. We believe that God has called us to be generous and cheerful givers, and that we are to build something greater than ourselves.
